DR. RAM'S JOURNEY

OUR FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

In 1981, Ram Bhagat’s brother was shot and killed. It changed his family and it changed him. From this tragedy emerged the Drums No Guns Foundation.

For over 30 years, DNG has used the power of world rhythm music and storytelling as a pathway to help people of all backgrounds unpack the root causes of violence, resolve conflict, and facilitate healing through drum circles, performances, workshops, edu-concerts, and interactive art experiences.
